What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Following this one closely. According to Yurtseven he has not taken any money but Fener is saying they have been putting money in an account for him all along.
Interesting to see how the NCAA handles these things with the looming/pending stuff at UL and UNC. There's unusual pressure right now, I believe.

Also a bit strange that it's Duke and UK being spoken of the most.. neither team really has a need for him (compared to many other blue bloods).

Well KY does not need him as they will have probably at least 5 6'9" and above guys next year, however Duke looks like it will have a need. Jeter is not a good player right and he is about the only big guy probably on next year's team from this year. Why cant Tatum play the 3, Giles play the 4 and Omer at the 5?

Sounds like a shady practice by Fener to keep players from being college eligible even when they dont have an actual contract. Fender up in arms about him attending the BWB camp. Apparently he did not notify them, but again if there is no contract why would he need to. Fener barely plays him so he is not getting any real game time action.

Fener is VERY shady in how they try to keep these kids from having options.

The funny thing is, Fener claims that they've sent the money to Ömer's account, and even if he did not touched the money, he also did not give it back.

Lulz.

Yeah, that's been being discussed for about a year now.

Lol. This is the first time I've opened this thread in a year. These things get started at least three years too early. I'm sure the 2025 draft thread will get started any day now.

I'm down with this big time. It could make sense to as far as pushing back having to re-sign a future player too which is good. Go out, sign Conley and maybe make an upgrade over Ingles and we're looking good as ****.
