Following potential 2017 draftees...

If I could have my best potential realistic scenario, I would like Terrance Ferguson at the #24 pick. I think he has more upside and more of a swing for the fences type selection than I see in the other potential picks at that slot.


I don't think he will quite fall to us but maybe. We may need a Rodney Hood type fall or to trade up a few picks to get him.

Ferguson had a per of 5 in the Australia league. That reads BUST to me.
 
Ferguson has a long way to go developing his dribble and mid-range game. He has a little of the same athletic appeal as Exum, but he's likely going to sit out on the wing and spot up. He may become an Ariza-like 3D guy, but I think we need someone who is shiftier, craftier and passes better. I wouldn't move Hood for him.

I would not even consider Terrance Ferguson until pick 42. And I'd be hesitant to pick him then. He's a total developmental project. He's a player who relies solely on three pointers and doesn't even make them.
