Wes Iwundu and the underrated 6'10" SF Dean Wade are lighting #2 Baylor up something serious. Both look like interesting pro prospects.
S/o to Tyus Battle for doing heavy lifting in that bigtime resume building win vs UVA today. 23 points on 11 FGA's.
Arizona's getting throttled 36-11 in the first 15 minutes of the first half at Oregon!! Great day of college ball and y'all are in this thread talking about ME, how flattering.
Regarding long, skinny perimeter players like Exum, at a glance there seems a higher than average likelihood for players of this body type to have knee injuries. Examples: Penny Hardaway, Shaun Livingston, Kerry Kittles, Dante and now Zach Lavine. It would seem related to torque on the knee when they make sharp cuts or off-balance landings. It's enough to make me nervous about drafting a player with this body type. This might apply to Dejounte Murray and Delon Wright as well.
I'm trying to think of similar players who have stayed healthy. The profile is 6'6"+ and under 190 lbs.
Jabari Parker?
Blake Griffin?
Derrick Rose?
Let's see some actual data.
That's not the body type. It's the long, skinny guard under 190 lbs. It's a question of whether they can take the pounding. Obviously this is just annecdotal, but I'm trying to find similar players that *didn't* have knee trouble.
