What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Jacob Evans is really good and Cincinnati might be really dangerous... On ESPN right now in cruise control. Freak athlete, good passer, defensive potential, 40% 3pt shooter -- what more do you need to know??

Better prospect than KJ McDaniels (who got moved for peanuts today) Fo Sho

Chad Ford did a mock draft recently that showed the Jazz getting Hartenstein. I'd be all for that. I haven't seen that much of him, but what I have seen looks better to me than Dragan Bender did. Tougher, equal or better athlete, more versatile inside-outside player. Plays with a bit of an edge.

Andrew Jones is #26 on Chadfords latest bigboard. I like that call, the Jazz should SERIOUSLY consider him now that I think about it.

there are a lot of scouts who feel like Jones is a major sleeper.

He's an elite athlete, plays above the rim and has shown the ability to knock down the 3. He's really come along in Big 12 play. The Nets need to continue to swing for the fences with these late draft picks and hope they strike gold. Jones is a good bet down this low.

been hyping him here since he blew up!!

Thatd be extraordinary value for sure. He and Andrew Jones who I just posted; two real high-potential young projects to add to the mix.

Fill in with some 2nd rounders like Cameron Oliver, Allonzo Trier, VJ Beachem and Viny Okuou.. that's an A+ draft for Utah in my book.

Certainly the Jazz will still be keeping an eye out for the next big man for Utah. Favors looks like his days are numbered and Lyles isn't progressing at quite the rate DL probably hoped for. It's kind of a thin draft for bigs, but some good ones are currently projected in the latter half of the 1st round.

Oregon St. commit 6'5" sg Ethan Thompson and Bishop Montgomery take down Marvin Bagley and Sierra Canyon in the Cali state tournament.

Thompson looked good.. here's some raw highlights.
