Doncic, Booker, Jackson and Warren are good foundation peices. The sins have money this summer to go out and offer or over pay for a center. They could offer the max to capela or steal favors from the jazz. If they felt so inclined they could offer a Max to cousins.

A pretty solid argument can be made that Jaren Jackson Jr. is a better shooter and better rim protector than Ayton. Ayton may be a better scorer in the post and mid-range, but even this may not be entirely clear cut or may not stay that way longer term. Jackson might also be a better roll-man and will also run the floor in transition and in transition defense. Ayton is a very impressive player, but he's not a clear-cut #1 pick to me, given the way the game has been evolving.

I'd take Ayton ahead of Bagley and probably Bamba though.

I think there was a piece on it about Harden a while ago - the ability to decelerate/stop on a dime and with full control in short spaces. This is why all his step backs leave him completely open. It's quite impressive. The first time he does it, you think - oh that's probably just bad defense, but then he does it again and again and again and every single time he has like 5+ feet of space to shoot it uninterrupted. I would want to see him do it against NBA level athletes and defenders but it looks extremely impressive at this level.

I live in Sacramento and surprised Kings fans seem to be pro Ayton. Someone was like what is this Doncic kid gonna be... I told them imagine if James Harden was fun as hell... something like that.

Spellman is an interesting player to me in the late first early second round. He reminds me of PJ Tucker or a longer more athletic Mo Spates. A dude who could come in, get some rebounds, and bomb away from deep.

Lol what? In that time frame the Suns have drafted Len, Bender, and Chriss. They’ve been complete *** since Hornacek’s second year as coach (and were supposed to be **** his first year). And only now will they have something that might resemble a good team in a few years. And their ‘stellar head coach’ is our ****ing guy!

While the Jazz have been in the hunt or the playoffs every year except one since then, have two players better than anyone on Phoenix, and are solidly in the NBA’s second tier with a super bright future.

And yet the Suns are the standard every team should aspire too? Please retract this dumb statement.
 
FWIW, I think Allen will be in the league for a long time. Not advocating him for the Jazz (yet) but he is a player.
 
He's good, guys. Shot 36% on 3s with over 5 attempts per game. Great hands. Grabbed almost 9 rpg, plus 1.6 bpg. He'd give us more shooting while keeping defensive length on the perimeter. Now he's likely to rise out of our range.
