Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I would. I think Okogie will do everything O'Neale does and more.

Trade Mitchell’s best friend for a guy who can hopefully do what we already know Royce can do?

Okogie is a better shooter, better scorer (especially mid-range), better rebounder and can create off the dribble for his teammates. They're not that close as prospects. O'Neale is a nice find and an extremely valuable contract. That's the only factor that makes it a bit of a debate.

Yeah, i wouldnt trade Royce for a player in the 20's. His defense is too valuable. I doubt Okogie could come in and play the level of defense Royce has. Plus the Mitchell connection gives him an added level of plot armor.

I'm a superstitious fellow, and KBD falling to the floor in agony during the workout interview is all I need to know on him ;)

After listening to Locke's podcast on shooting numbers, I have soured on Troy Brown.

Chandler Hutchison or Melvin Frazier anyone?

Chandler is weak of the bounce shooter, but great elsewhere. And he is good in the PnR. Melvin Frazier, someone said he can't bench press but I saw a video where he says he bench pressed 185 lbs 13 times. So what is it?
Where you not aware that Brown couldnt shoot before? He is a project in that regard.

Also, consider the improvements that Royce has made over the past 2 seasons. From a free agent workout, summer league work, playing overseas, getting a shot in training camp, cracking the rotation, playing well when given minutes and finally starting and contributing in a second round playoff series. . . I’m thinking there’s enough upside to develop him for the next three years and then make an informed decision on his future. The Spurs have thrived by finding these guys. Danny Green and Jonathon Simmons are both great examples.

ESPN may be buying into the idea that the Jazz gave Huerter a guarantee. I'm not 100% sure the Jazz would take Huerter over Okobo. The Jazz may think they're going to pick up a combo forward in trade or free agency a year from now though and could pass on KBD if they're not sold on him.

I thought he was inolved more in PnR in college, but he wasn't and that has turned me off. Great kid and maybe because he is so young he turns it around (if he could add great shooting than that would cure a lot of his weaknesses), but I would take him now only near the end of the 1st.
