Following Potential 2018 Draftees

This is what The Ringer said about JRob:

I dunno.. are they lying? Did they just make all that up?

Their not lying just watch his mid-range game u will see flashes of that stuff constantly. he's got this great way of being hurky jerky but then pulling up with a pure J outa nowhere, like a prime Prince Naseem in the boxing ring :D

How do you think his passing/decision making project? I haven't really been able to get a good handle on that. Also how do you think his season would have went if he went to Louisville? I wonder if he's so talented that he could have put up Malik Monk numbers, or if he was too raw to put up good counting stats.

He's really not bad at PG, I like his handle, he's very shifty while keeping the ball very low which is something I am actually big on.... they had him playing next to another combo at IMG Eric Ayala who's gonna be a good guard in college, actually he's kinda like Jerome Robinson, but I digress. Simons is good at dumpoff type of passes and he's particularly effective on the break. He's got legit burst to keep these defenders honest, he's both explosive and finesse.

Simons can develop into a fulltime PG, in a sort of Jeff teague type of capacity IMO. He's got good awareness.

Simons can get white scalding hot for sure he'd have put up an easy 15-5-5 for Louisville and been the star of their offense.

He'd destroy thru college, he's not THAT raw...

Simons UL season could've gone like D'Angelo Russells at OSU as far as im concerned he could've really blown up. No oubt in my mind he'd go near the lottery next szn.

You have this AWESOMELY talented SG in next years draft named Romeo Langford but of the pure guards there's a steep decline in talent after him and Anfernee Simons absolutely would've been one of the very next in line.

He's gambling on himself here, taking the $ upfront and the opportunity to hit the free market a year earlier, rather than waiting another year and getting double upfront.. This is not some short-term $$$ grab, strike while the iron's hot ********, Anfernee Simons has MAJOR staying power and is betting on it...

the selling point for the Jazz is simple, he's possibly a guard to put next to Mitchell that makes the offense even more difficult to contain.

Just watched Drazen Musa highlights for the first time, and I have to say, those were some of the most enjoyable highlights I’ve ever seen to watch. I can’t believe he’s 6-8 and moves the way he does. I wouldn’t mind it if the jazz drafted him. He seems to have a nice range of skills. Step back, euro step, killer cross over, and range that goes forever. I just have no idea if he plays defense or not.

I feel like I am in information overload. I can only imagine what the Jazz FO is looking at. At this point I am okay with most of the flawed players we have to pick from. But I'll admit to being down on Allen, DD and Robinson. I just don't see a defensive position for them. And since we are trying to win games in the playoffs, they have to be able to guard their position.

A brief scan of today's draft rumors (everyone is lying)…
Dallas and Atlanta want to trade down. Dallas might also want to trade up. Denver wants to trade up, and have offered Faried to Dallas as bait. Porter Jr. has a bad hip, but allegedly Dallas doesn't mind.

Is he a Rodney Hood clone? Maybe a slightly better shooter, but he has the same type of frame - 6'8" - the guys with the shorter frame get their shot off quicker and tend to have better touch. He could be a good, underrated pick.

If simons had gone to Louisville under Patino he would never have seen the floor because he is not a good defender.

Didn’t see anything close to resemble Hood. Musa seems to have way more advanced handles, and more wiggle when attacking, and more explosive
