Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I wouldn't hate that (depending on who's there at 21, I feel good about Huerter). Especially if they can move up in the 2nd/grab an extra 2nd.

IMO Huerter will go lottery. I think there will be tons of turns and twists outside the top 8. Teams will get enamored with prospects up and down the draft. Huerter will move up I think, because of his shot and length.

Of the guys that could realistically be there at 21, the order of the guys I'd want is:
-Huerter (looks like a difference-maker on offense with some untapped upside)
-Big Ragu (doesn't have quite the same level of size or shooting ability as Huerter, but the guy just plays the game like a wrecking ball)
-KBD (I am having a tough time differentiating the many 3+D guys, but KBD separates himself as a stretch 4 with his ability to protect the rim, play in the post, and long reach)
-Okobo I think
-I have a tough time knowing who I should like between Thomas, Okogie, and Frazier, they all kind of blur together, but one of those guys?

I wouldn't want to reach on Spellman, but if he was selected at #21 I would be just fine with it.

Guys I'm meh on:
Hutchison, Jerome Robinson, Brown, Evans, Brunson

Nope:
Mitchell Robinson, Holiday, Musa, Allen

I’m pretty close to this... Okobo higher and I really like Evans. I think he’s one of the safest guys in our range. I’m fine with Musa... nope on Brunson.

I could see that. In that scenario, I think I'd want to get on the phone with Philly and trade 21 for 26 and 39.

Jerome Robinson has skyrocketed up mock drafts. Seems there's a very small chance he's even available by the time the Jazz pick. He's pushed Troy Brown down. He's #17 on Givony's mock draft on ESPN insider and #16 on NBAdraft.net.

That because people are seeing he's got an NBA game up close. Kid has an it factor, a little swagger, and is a smart player.

one of you trade scenario enthusiasts want to try and reverse engineer how the 76ers could piece together an offer worthy of a top 5 pick without including saric or covington??

"This draft," one Western Conference assistant GM said, "is going to change the way the way the game is played over the next 8 to 10 years, because the way to beat teams that play small ball and switch everything is to have skilled big guys. And that's what this draft is full of."

What is the opposition to Brunson? I get not being excited, but I'm not seeing a lot there to dislike.

Spending the 21st pick on a guy who will be nothing but a 3rd string PG for multiple years is just not good value imo. That's why I hope we avoid the pure PG's (Brunson, Holiday, Carter). I like them all as prospects to a certain extent. I just don't think a replacement for the Neto role is worth the 21st pick. If we take a guard there it has to be one with combo guard skills.
