Following Potential 2018 Draftees

The guy who comps closest to Hayward that I've seen is Troy Brown. Plus his handle and rebounding are better than Hayward's coming out of school.

I just can't get on the Troy Brown train. I'm never a big fan of wing players who struggle to shoot the 3.

Brown is longer, that's about all he has on Hayward. Hayward was a great rebounder at Butler.

Who is an average player who takes about 6 years to develop into a pretty good player but leaves after year 7?

Why are we talking about Hayward?

Because I compared Huerter to being a better shooting Hayward.

Gordon Hayward 6-8 in shoes 211 lbs 6-7.75 wing span 8-7 standing reach 6.9% body fat 20 years old (3/20/90)

Kevin Huerter 6' 7.25'' in shoes 194 lbs 6' 7.5'' wing span 8-6 standing reach 8.60% body fat 19 years old (8/27/98)

Coming out there are very similar players.except Huerter is skinnier but

Hayward sucked. So overrated. I'm so glad we invested so much in 7 years for one series win then a sweep. If that is the goal for this draft, please trade the pick.

Huerter 32 games played PTS 14.8 RB 5.0 AST 3.4 FG% 50.3 FG3% 41.7 FT% 75.8
Hayward 37 games played PTS 15.5 RB 8.2 ast 1.7 FG% 46.6 FG3% 29.4 FT% 82.9

They had different Jobs on their teams as Hayward played more forward and Huerter more of a guard.

The huge difference is Hayward was much better at driving and drawing contact. He's was a much more natural scorer and tougher player.
