Following Potential 2018 Draftees

So I thought that this would be an interesting exercise. Name one pick that you feel confident will happen, one pick that is being projected in mock drafts that you don't think will happen, and one pick that you think gets traded.

Confident it will happen- Deandre Ayton to the Suns at 1. I'll take the easiest path on this one lol.
Don't think it will happen- Trae Young to the Magic at 6. Their GM typically values size/length/athleticism.
Pick that gets traded- Denver trades away 14.

Confident will - Okobo goes before the Jazz #sad
Confident won't - Troy Brown top 15
Trade - Sactp out of #2

Trent's natural position is at the 2-guard, but he'd fit into a spread-floor, positionless system. He can play next to Mitchell and share some of the on-ball duties.

Trent Jr could be a nice 3 point specialist. A sniper off of someones bench. I'm not sure I see him being much more than that.

Is Huerter a good defender? His weak frame and short wingspan are defensive concerns, are they not?

Huerter's frame isn't so bad for a 2-3 combo guy. He's a smart defender, saw a stat that he had the best at the rim %'s of any wing in college basketball last season.

Trent is just dumb on D.

Interesting. So for Trent it’s his lack of desire/IQ that holds him back defensively, right?

I’ll take a peak. What I like about Donte is the fire and tenacity.

Regarding Allen, I’m kinda curious. Why didn’t he come out after his sophomore year? Was averaging like 22 ppg and then decreased the next two years fairly significantly.
