Vivek Ranadive loves drafting players with media hype behind them in the predraft process, Jimmer Fredette, Buddy Hield, De'Aaron Fox. Luka Doncic is that guy this year. The guy everyone is talking about. There's rumors that the Kings like the domestic bigs more than Doncic but I'm not buying it.

I know I've qualified my statements many times about not being a great draft guru guy, but I've always been curious what the fascination with Doncic is. From my limited highlight watching, there's nothing in there that makes me think "wow, this guy will be great!" [or even good {not saying he sucks, just saying}].

Yeah, he's a big boy. He needs to get in way better shape, but that could be seen as a positive for a lot of teams. He has untapped physical potential.

Especially Euro guys... they don’t weight train like US guys do. I love people sleeping on Doncic... he will be so effing good. If we were 18 winning at the highest levels beating up on grown men I’m not sure we’d worry about nachos. Wait til he gets his *** kicked a few times and gets with a personal trainer and player development staff.
