Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I know I've qualified my statements many times about not being a great draft guru guy, but I've always been curious what the fascination with Doncic is. From my limited highlight watching, there's nothing in there that makes me think "wow, this guy will be great!" [or even good {not saying he sucks, just saying}].

I like him. But I do think he's been overhyped. I think his ceiling is as a Gordon Hayward/Manu Ginobili type. 2nd or 3rd best player on a great team. Fringe All Star, fringe All NBA.

Well my board is far off the consensus u see on the mocks and i think im gonna be fairly accurate. I'd say he could go 4th.

If the kings take doncic 2nd they wont be even better than the hayward led jazz teams. Idk how they can hide him defensively phx would have a much easier time having josh jackson.

Mo Bamba looms large in this draft,there's gonna be fireworks early. he's #1 on my board and i flat out dont believe many teams can or will pass on him

. The Kings current big situation is tailor made to add an impact player as WCS can in fact play PF, and u also have Skal and then Giles are PF/C tweeners, the other bigs are xpiring vets in koufos and randolph its flexible with any of the top bigs.

Ayton makes a ton of sense for PHX, dunno how u could look at their depth chart and say otherwise. I'd cite rebounding as the reason why and IMO this is ofter understated when it comes to ayton.

Atlanta to me could use Bamba and JJJ who'd play C next to John Collins , and even Bagley, who'd play PF next to Collins.

Idk how anyone really argues agaisnt mo in the top 3, did they see those teams play defense szn? Lol

Why are so many down on Allen? I think he’ll make a god pro.

I’m not very high on Doncic, I keep getting this feeling he’ll be a bigger Jimmer. I’ve watched his tape, but he just doesn’t blow me away, I come away thinking what he does won’t translate to the nba, hope I’m wrong.

Jazz seem high on Allen. At Least that is the vibe I get from Tony Jones and listening to Walt Perrin.

I like the knock down shooter with crazy combine numbers. But I don't know what to make of his past...incidents.

I didn't know that he and Donovan Mitchell had a run-in of sorts. I wonder if that changes things.

Yeah Givony had an article recently about how he's heard about a lot of teams not having him in their top 3. Worried about his body and off court eating/partying habits. Apparently eats a lot of nachos? He is kind of doughy...

Body type is close to Ingles than Mitchell lol.

In the same article it stated that he had been playing for 18 straight months and that will also take a toll on the body

He put Allen ahead of everyone but Brown... I'd have him last on the list.

If we want Grayson I hope we acquire another pick or trade back. I think he'd be around at 29/30.
