Following Potential 2019 Draftees

Wouldn't ya know... I put these asshats on ignore and then look thru the thread and it's all on-topic now. Cheers.

Now I'm gonna constantly bump all the draftee's threads just to lure people in for complaints, so I can weed out those for the ignore list faster.

Hon mention to Michigan Freshman big - Marcus Bingham Jr.

Love this, pgab. Thanks for posting.

I think the top tier is somewhere around top 7, not really sure it's much of a dropoff with players like *****u and grimes and keldon johnson, then u get to more risky bets imo. Eventually it'll be like a solid 4 in the top tier - Langford will be in there for sure.

Obviously this is by far the lowest u'll see RJ Barrett (who i've been posting bout here since he went by Rowan Barrett Jr, which was loooong ago) but depending on play I can easily boost him back much higher. As for the Duke trio I'm definitely in the Cam Reddish has the most upside minority.. RJ has a terrific skillset tho, big $$$$ player for sure.

These mocks u see where Bassey isn't listed high are ridiculous and at this stage there's no reason not to have him high. He is better than people realize and for the amount of years he's been playing it bodes quite well for his future. Supreme athlete too.

Ashton Hagans has potential to go leaping up the board if he shoots it well because he will be seen as the premier defensive PG in the draft (easily). PG is gonna be tricky this season but I am personally very high on incoming freshman like Garland, Hagans and Dotson.

28 in the mock AJ Lawson is a player u wont find on any other mocks but is sure to impress. Canadian import, late addition to the Freshman class. 6'7" shooter high bbiq, wingspan, potential.

When I look at the mock one of the players that stands out to me as underrated is Jon Elmore

Also keep an eye on;

Jaylen Hoard 6'8 combo forward - Wake Forest - Fr.

MJ Walker 6'4 SG - FSU - So.

Kenny Wooten 6'9" PF - Oregon - Jr.

Jordan Brown 6'11" PF/C - Nevada - Fr.

Makauch Malauch 6'6" SG/SF - New Mexico - So.

Terence Davis 6'4" SG - Ole Miss - Sr.

Dewan Huell 6'11" PF - Miami - Jr.

Matisse Thybulle 6'5" SG/SF - Washington - Sr.

Javin DeLaurier 6'9" PF - Duke - Jr.

Marques Bolden 6'11" C - Duke - Jr.

Leugentz Dort 6'4" SG/PG - ASU - Fr.

I think Killian Tillie is more a fringe first-round guy at least.
Jontay Porter should also go first round if he improves his body and shows he's a stretchy 5 who can defend and rebound consistently -- similar to Mo Wagner's situation.
Kris Wilkes probably comes out too if he shows improvement.

Edit: nvm you have Wilkes at 27

Also, what's the latest on Yves Pons? Is he developing any game at all these days?

He just turned 19. Will probably need another 2 years. Tennessee will play around Schofield and Grant Williams again. The SEC will provide him with top notch competition.

He's got to shoot it better or at an acceptable rate or his upside is 2nd rd. Will get looks for sure tho no matter when he leaves.

If Kris Wilkes improves upon what I thought was an outstanding year from 3 at 4.8 attempts and 35% accuracy he will go flying up this board.

I almost expect some regression from those #'s tho...

Who knows. UCLA is gonna be an interesting team and under Alford they've had many great success stories helping kids improve their shooting... Moses Brown who I've got in the top-20 is already better than people realize, he's gonna be way better in a few years tho as he adds strength.

As for Mizzou. They will need to play thru their bigs in Porter and Tilmon, those 2 can help each others stock immensely with some proper high-low action.

the Tigers took heavy losses, with Porter Jr., Kassius Robertson and Jordan Barnett. They are gonna need several players to step up, likely they will be bad at guard and talk about incoming x-fer Mark Smith (who has to sit out this szn) constantly on broadcasts.

I think Porter might wait til the 2020 draft.

U might look at that mock and think "why the hell is Kevin Porter Jr., a 4-star recruit, in the lottery?"

Check this out. Lefty SG, plenty athletic... Can shoot and handle... Many feel he is next in line from the great string of guards from the state of Washington.

Word is NBA execs like him already.. Will be at USC who's gonna be sneaky good this year.

keep an eye on Simi *****u He is listed as a forward at 6'9" but with an NBA body he will be a 4 at the next level. He has an ACL tear his senior year but it is said he will be ready for the start of the college season. He needs work on his outside shot but he has talent

Going to Vanderbilt

I just read the Celtics are likely to have FOUR first round picks in 2019 with two of them likely mid to late lottery.

Danny freaking Ainge must have sold his soul, and the souls of all his grandchildren. It's like he is playing blackjack and is the only one who can see his own cards and the dealers ards too.

So can someone summarize who will be available next year when we draft at #30? That will be our spot after all. Or maybe we can trade up to like 24 or something.

If I had one player that I covet the most at this point is Luka Samanic. He has got it all and he is from Croatia. The country with more NBA players per capita.
