Following Potential 2019 Draftees

50% right. But 100% bat**** crazy.

I don't have great conviction about some of those names, don't take it too serious, just throwing it out there.

For example I have more conviction about the 2024 pick than the 2023 for sure. That Canadian kid Elijah Fisher is like 6'2 already with long arms athleticism and a nice handle, seems like he'll end up a beastly wing... He could dunk at 12.

Chuks Luky is up there because he's like 6'11" already with at 7'+ ws and around a 9 ft standing reach and seems decently coordinated, he seems to have a pretty high floor..

I don't know more than 25 names from those last few age groups, and a few of them are only cuz I know someone who coaches kids that age, and someone who's kid is rated very highly in that class of 2023.. The coach is the one who told me about Emoni Bates who looks legit.

'17-'21 I'm kinda confident, those picks wont be far off if their wrong.

I look forward to the threads in 2022 when we look back and PG_AB talks to us all on where and how the Jazz messed this up and how he knew what to do.

I did know what to do, I don't need to edit it in after the fact like some of these websites either.

As I've been saying here for years, If I was in charge they'd have the youngest team in the league and they'd be competitive and be steady snowballing assets, waiting for the time to strike (certainly not this season)... It's not like their selling more tickets with this team..

did I not say Gobert looked like a lottery talent before the draft?
that Hood had potential to be one of the best lefty shooters in the league?
that Trey Lyles had lottery talent way early?
and that Trey Burke was overrated?
That the Jazz should've tried to promise Porzingis with their pick in 2014??

and countless other predictions??

I've been so accurate I'm surprised there isn't a make PG_AB the GM petition started around here.

Here's a possible phenom.. they say he's the best layer in the class.. Appears to really have some serious PG skills at 5'10"

I've heard this kid has outdueled every top player he's went up against..

My current picks to go #1 in the next 8 drafts are;

2017 - Fultz
2018 - Ayton
2019 - Bagley
2020 - Charles Bassey---------- Hon. mention; Balsa Koprivica, R.J. Barrett
2021 - Isaiah Todd----------- Hon. mention Kyree Walker, Jabri Abdur-Rahim
2022 - Chuks Lucky Isitua---------- (I'd imagine Zion Harmon would be the popular pick) Hon. mention; Trey Patterson or Jonathan Lawson
2023 - Emoni Bates
2024 - Elijah Fisher---------- Hon. Mention; LeBron James Jr.

This C/O '21 kid is supposed to be at the Duke vs Florida game getting hosted in some capacity.. Along with a 2020 PG named Louis Farrakhan.

2½ years after the creation of this thread and Marvin Bagley remains the #1 player in the class. Here's highlights from his season debut

Zion Williamson is somewhere on the Larry Johnson - Glenn Robinson spectrum..

Glad to hear this! I've been hyping his kid here since the summer of 2015. Really smooth game and shooting stroke. My friend who coaches AAU ball swears by him.
