Following Potential 2019 Draftees

Do you realize why were calling this thread insane?
Because you think that being dismissive about **** you know little about is a worthy dissipation of your time?? Channeling your inner Nelson Muntz?

Whatever your answer is, I don't care. I've presented my rationale on why I keep tabs on the So. and Fr. many times over and no one here has ever posted any sort of legitimate response which thwarts it.

The stories are one of my favorite parts of following ball. The one that really sucked me in back in the day was when Chris Paul scored 61 pts 2 days after his grandfather was murdered at 61 y/o.

even tho it's 2½ years away Romeo Langford is going top-10 in this draft and thats probably a conservative estimate. He's got a bullet-proof skillset.

If somehow that happens this will be a truly elite crop of SG's because Langford is that good.

aaaand he just posterized Jaren Jackson. You can find that play on tonights SC top-10 for sure.. Words like Uber, Elite, Ultra and Star should be used when discussing Langford's talent level, anything less is underselling him.

38 and counting..

Langford is legit. Reminds me a lot of Malik Monk. Might be better at the same age, but that's nitpicky because Monk was great.

He actually reminds me of some sort of Markelle Fultz and Andrew Wiggins fusion. His handle/PG skills are better than Monks at this stage. his step-back J is $$$ like Monk.

Bagley is like a tsller better lefty Blake Griffin thats more of a shotblocker.. He's obviously going to avg 20-10

the talent on the court in that Oak Hill game was ridiculous. if Preston can get some coach to light a fire under him, he could be pretty special. Also like the Riley kid going to UCLA. didn't have a great game, but if he can stay in shape, he has a nice set of skills with a the strong frame and adequate athleticism. Bagley didn't disappoint, of course. Really like how active he is, how hard he plays. Seems to have a good head.

Sekou Doumboya looks like Andrew Wiggins mixed with Michael Beasley at SF and he doesn't turn 16 til 1 week from today. He'll play in the NBA at 18.

He projects as one of the better rebounding SF's in years..

Here's Sekou Doumbouya at 15 years old dropping 31 in the under-18 tournament, on 10/11 FG's..

Easily one of the best SG prospects I've ever seen. His game is actually markedly more complete than Bradley Beal which is nothing short of insane.

Here he is dropping 40 on the #1 team in the nation on ESPN2 the other day.

"He went 24 of 24 inside the three-point line and 25 of 28 overall"

Shaq's son Shareef is in this class and is recently claiming he can be better than his old man. Obviously thats not gonna happen but he could actually be a pretty good Combo forward type sort of like a Tyler Lydon or TJ Leaf in college now and a pretty good fit on Utah IMO. He could play minutes behind Lyles and even take over some of the Joe Johnson role eventually.

He's got a crazy training facility/gym in his house... which is nice...

I kinda think he gets a lil bit too much hype right now in the class but he's certainly deserving of his ranking/ being a consensus 5-stars and he's capable of being a one-and-done with a great freshman season(Shooting it well from 3 and shotblocking are keys for him to really boost his stock moving forward)

Kinda hoping he goes to UK. Also he's got a brother 3 years younger named Shaqir who's supposed to be good.

Maybe PKM can chime in on if this is a possibility, I'm hopeful. If you have Zion at F in college and Marvin Bagley at C and you have some depth and a few solid guards/shooting and maybe even one great guard(DARIUS GARLAND).. Thats a young team thatmight be able to really run the table..

Their fastbreak would be like nothing ever seen before in college from 2 freshman forwards..

90's style NBA PF He's 6'9" 250lbs. Damn athletic for that body type tho. He kinda reminds me of Jeremy Tyler, but much, much more aggressive. 7'3" wingspan, 9' standing reach.
