Ummm he's flat out called our pick multiple times (not directly but basically).David Locke usually pumps up prospects who are slightly below the Jazz's draft range, so that when we draft someone above that person, everyone will think we scored.
It's part of managing fan expectations.
For comparison:Woodard measured 6'5.5 (without shoes) with a 7'2 wingspan.

I still like Perry and don't understand why people are talking about Tillman, Oturu and Nnaji without mentioning Perry.
K we traded the 2016 pick so...He hyped up Trey Lyles in 2015, but that was when there was really no chance that Lyles would get drafted ahead of us.
In 2016, he was talking about Wade Baldwin and Dejounte Murray.
In 2018, he was talking about Melvin Frazier and Khyri Thomas.
