Following Potential 2020 draftees

I would have been super hyped to get a Nnaji 8-10 years ago. Now I'm not sure. He was super productive in his lone freshman season and he seems to be a good kid off the court.

I think he's a sleeper pick, at best, and more or less a backup plan, but I'd understand if he were the pick.

Nnaji is simply a luxury pick Utah cant afford to make. To take Nnaji over even the best pg on the board would be an error.

My three guys right now are
-Woodard (physical profile/defensive versatility is really enticing)
-Bane (can see an Ingles-like impact) and
-Maledon (really intriguing size and passing).

Would be happy for any of them to be here.

Pardon the random thoughts. I’m just catching up here.

After watching hours of highlights , decided I like Jalen smith with # 23 ......
A 6”10 athletic big who can shoot the 3 at 37% sounds good to me...

Because Nnaji can defend in space and defend switches, which is what 4s are expected to do.
I'm not a Nnaji buff, but his knock on the Ringer is that he is bad guarding in space and can't rim protect.

Maybe there is potential there, but the report that he added 20 lbs during the extended off-season tells me the perimeter defense probably won't improve too much.

I would have to see some defensive reel of him switching in space or guarding wing types.

The Jazz put out a lineup of Tony Bradley and Gobert during the bubble though, so anything is possible I guess.
