Following Potential 2025 Draftees

If he's 30-33, he needs to be a really good scorer. I think he can be a decent scorer, but not enough to offset really bad shooting.
We got time to figure that out. It might actually be ideal if he is really productive and sucks at the 3 as it could juice his value beyond his winning contribution (assuming we’re stuck tanking through at least next season).

That development from Collier probably would make me lean to Bailey
Yeah, Bailey's upside is so massive it would be hard to pass on if you think you have your PGOTF.

I know people will say "best player no matter what" but I dont think best player is that clear when talking about Harper vs Bailey given how much upside Bailey has.

Egor Demin is showing out against #20 Arizona right now
Eh, 7-20 (16 points on 20 shots), 2-9 from 3 and 0-3 from the line. 3 assists and 4 turnovers.
That doesn't seem good to me. Arizona game plan was perfect and what every team should do against Demin. Take away passing lanes. Allow Demin good looks and dont leave anyone else open. Force Demin to shoot the ball and dont allow him to set up teammates. Demin is a poor shooter so this should be the easy game plan against BYU every game. And AZ cruised to a nice comfortable win in the Marriot Center where BYU almost never loses.

Yep. He really needs another year to solidify his handle and work on his 3. But he has intense flashes of talent that if he goes into the draft he is getting picked, it's just a matter of who is patient vs a team wanting an immediate payoff. As a BYU fan I'd love him for another year, because his D is good and the fact the other team has to design their whole defensive game plan around him shouldn't be possible next year with AJ.

Ya im really hoping he comes back for another year but Im also almost positive that he wont. Maybe if he gets like 2-3 million to stay at BYU then he maybe would? It would be a significant pay cut (cody williams makes over 5 million per year) but still plenty of money.

It's a massive paycut when you consider you're taking a year longer to get to your 2nd contract

At the time I posted that he was playing great. He had a rough second half.

True. Very unlikely he stays. Some kids do enjoy college though. Hopefully he loves living in provo.
I can only speak for myself but if I had millions then I wouldn't be super hungry for lots of more millions if I thought I would enjoy my lifestyle less. Im different than most people when it comes to money though.

I couldn't imagine a worse place to live as a 20 year old.

I actually love provo. Pretty safe place with great parks and amazing beauty all around and fantastic fishing, hiking, biking, and camping. I would love it. Especially if I was a serious athlete who didn't drink and do drugs. And even if I wanted to drink and do drugs the opportunity for that exists even in provo.

But ya, if im being honest I would probably be too tempted by the but loads of money. I mean I could still have a house in provo if I wanted to and I could find other places to live that have all the things I like if I had insane amounts of money.

Would

Would the 20 year old version of yourself love it when you could live in a NBA city?
