Watched Baylor play today. VJ had a slow start and foul trouble but ended up with another good game. Had a nuclear dunk as well.

I wonder if the troll on this forum is making others dislike him, but he’s been awesome in conference play.

I think he's a good lotto prospect, but not in the top two tiers. Decent game vs a mediocre team.

More and more feels like the fall off after three is pretty big. I'd be extremely happy with top 3, much less certain on 4-6 and pretty disastrous if we fall to 7+.

If we finish with a bottom-2 record, we can't fall to 7.

He's been awesome during conference play. I would have him as high as 4, but this recent 3 point shooting seems a little too good to be true so Kas is holding onto that spot for now.

I have VJ below Tre Johnson until I see VJ knock down shots off the dribble. He's been making his 3s, but they've been mostly catch-and-shoot reps. Whereas, Tre Johnson has to self-create and beat defenders possession after possession.

Tre is definitely a better shooter/scorer, but VJ dwarfs him in most areas. Tre's efficiency has really tanked in conference play so unless the scoring gets wider I don't have much of a case for him over VJ. He's still top 6 for me, but the 5 other guys are comfortably ahead of him.

If he was just a little taller. Measurements are going to be very important. I just have a hard time seeing a 6'3" guard who doesn't distribute having a huge role.

Yeah, but a team wants more than that from a top-5 pick. VJ's shooting and handle need some real work for the next level.

Demin led BYU in field goal attempts again (by a lot) and got blown out again.


Seems like the strategy when a team plays BYU should be to try to make Demin try to score.
