Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Ball handling is definitely an area for improvement for VJ, but some people make it seem like he can barely dribble. The guy who actually can’t dribble is Egor. VJ is not that bad and his passing is pretty good.

BYU 96Iowa State 92BYU wins its ninth straight game by knocking off a fourth consecutive ranked opponent for the first time in 74 years.
BYU made a season-high 18 3-pointers (18-for-36) in setting a Big 12 tourney single-game record.
The two teams combined to tie a record for any conference game with 31 triples (ISU: 13-for-30).
BYU had 24 assists on 30 makes.

Terrible shot by VJ for the game winning attempt. Definitely had enough time to get his body more under control instead of attempting a full speed running 20 footer

I think my Top 15 would look like this at the moment:
  1. Cooper Flagg
  2. Dylan Harper
  3. Ace Bailey
  4. VJ Edgecombe
  5. Tre Johnson
  6. Noa Essengue
  7. Derik Queen
  8. Collin Murray-Boyles
  9. Khaman Maluach
  10. Kon Knueppel
  11. Jeremiah Fears
  12. Kasparas Jakucionis
  13. Liam McNeeley
  14. Carter Bryant
  15. Rasheer Fleming
All of these guys should probably be starters eventually.

My top 4 are the same.
Don't even know most of the other dudes

Saw that Baylor was 19-14 and was worried they wouldn't make the field and we wouldn't get to see more VJ (haven't followed college that closely this year), but apparently they should be safely in and projected as a 9 seed? What a weak bubble this year.

Already don't get Harper and Ace, and we'll see h how quickly Flagg can come back, so happy we get VJ

I'm having a hard time getting excited about Noa after watching Cody this year. It's hard to be that skinny in the NBA.

I was traveling for most of the day yesterday so I didn't see any basketball. It looks like Fears had another monster game with 28 points. Newell had 17 boards.

Just thinking out loud, but I think Fears and Traore are in similar circumstances. Both have huge responsibilities on bad teams in good leagues. Both have struggled with efficiency and consistency because of it. Their games are fairly different, but they are both able to break the paint easily and get wherever they want on the court. Traore is the better playmaker, but Fears has the better shooting indicators (FT%/3PT rate). Hmmm...
