Following Potential 2025 Draftees

And a little crazy that Sensabaugh was a flame thrower that some Jazz fans were ready to quit on and that the coach wasn't using... thank goodness he showed out.

I think Tre is kinda twitchy as far as how he moves and I think Brice is not that way at all. Its just what sticks out to me when watching the highlights. So he might be able to do more in the NBA whereas Brice's strength advantage he used in college is a little bit neutered.

With Ace so much would come down to intel we won't get. What kind of kid is he, what kind of work ethic, what is his personality. If a guy like Ayton were to be super committed and just a smart guy... the outcome could have been so different.

I definitely think Tre looks better on film than Brice, but to give credit to Brice he was actually a killer in the mid range. He and Tre actually had really similar shot profiles (for better or worse), but Brice was a lot more efficient in the mid range. How much does Brice's mid range matter in the NBA? Almost nothing. Part of that is translation to a higher level, but I also think a large part of that is that in the NBA they do not value those shots. You can count the number of guys making a living off of mid range pullups with like one hand, and even though it was a large part of Tre's offense he wasn't that good at it (just 37% in the mid range).

If we're going to use Brice as a case study, the shooting looked great on paper and it did indeed translate. It's why he'll probably have an NBA career, but I think after such a big tank year our sights are set on something bigger than just having a player survive in the NBA. Tre is one of the better three point shooting prospects I can remember, but beyond that he's also kind of similar to Brice....not much else. This is not me saying Tre and Brice are at a similar level, but one guy we got in the late first and one we will have tanked a whole year for so it's a different expectation. Tre isn't a great prospect outside of his 3 ball which leaves me open to the idea of Kas, Kon, or Fears at #5 if that's where we land.

On Ace, definitely agree. Just like Ayton, if you direct that talent in the right direction he will be a star....I just think that is easier said than done. Without that he's probably something like Rudy Gay.

I don’t know why but he seems different than the Salauns and Diengs to me right now. Maybe it’s the stroke? The age? I don’t know, but I’m intrigued.

He shows some balance, body control and advanced timing for a player that size. He also jumps the passing lanes and seems to anticipate defensively. The elite players move more intelligently than the average player, and Noa moves very well for a long wing. He also has enough touch in general to finish plays.
