Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Cedric Coward had a huge game. He's kind of a sleeper late first round guy for a lot of people. Senior transfer. 23-12-4-2-1, 3/7 from 3

He transferred with his coach, so should be a smooth transition for him.

I'm really fascinated by Derik Queen. If his shot ever drops and the passing shows itself, he's someone I would really want with the 2nd pick, but if he shows those things he might not be there with the 2nd pick.

Any buzz about byu freshman Egor Demin? BYU played an exhibition game the other night against some D2 school that they won by like 60 or something. Demin only played in the first half I believe and had 12 assists in the first half. 6 foot 9 with a really good feel for the game. Great ball handler and passer. Athletic.

Would be cool to draft him this year and then draft AJ Dybantsa in 2026 and have 2 BYU players on the jazz along with Ainge and Ryan Smith.
I am a huge Demin fan and have followed him since I heard BYU was interested. Honestly, he could be a team's lead guard. He has an amazing passing game. That seems to be what BYU is having him do. He brought the ball up and initiated the offense. However, Dallen Hall did not play. When Hall comes back I expect him to move off the ball. I want to see his ability to score the ball. His shooting will be the most important skill he needs to show. He has struggled at times shooting the ball. Defense is also something to watch. I think he has been decent here but needs to improve. He would be an amazing player to move up to get. 6'9" shooting guards are a luxury. I would love to get FLAGG and DEMIN in this draft.

Not a great game, but he was the only one of the top prospects playing against a good team.
I turned on the game for a few minutes and had 2 thoughts:

- How the hell is Roach still playing college basketball?
- Man I hate college basketball at times (so ugly).

Not a great start for VJ but he gonna need a minute to adjust to the game.
