While I agree that we don't really know what Morey likes in a draft, that is not the argument people are making at all. Ace is the worst "Moreyball" guy in the draft. Doesn't mean that Morey won't draft him, but that's the actual argument being presented.

How does a 6'9 shooter not make sense for Moreyball? Why does VJ Edgecombe make more sense for "Moreyball".

Is "moreyball" even a thing when his team's best player takes a ton of midrange shots?

Moreyball was mostly a counter to the Golden State Warriors' historically prolific offense. It's driving and kicking, so everything is a 3PA, at the rim, or at the foul line. I don't think it works really with Joel Embiid being your main guy.....well, except the FTs.
