Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Mistake watching Ace 's interviews, he seems like a dude who would make bad decisions during the draft process. Not working out for teams could be a big mistake.
If he’s gonna suck at processing the game at NBA speed and is gonna be devoted to a terrible shot profile, he should care a lot about how early he is drafted cuz his success is far from guaranteed and he should care a lot about making the best money he can right now.

Hot take… call the bluff on Ace and leverage the team that is in his ear… or keep him.

I’m only half kidding.

If it’s Washington, maybe we can swap 21 for 18. The we can be certain we get the guy we want. BKN seems like it could be the other destination, but that worries me because we might be left with Fears/Maluach. There are only 6 guys (who are realistic to go top 5) who I’d be ok with. Fears/Maluach don’t make the cut for me.

Hot take... Jeremiah Fears is a jumpshot away from being the second best player in this draft... and he's shooting 85% from FT....

Could be honestly. Needs to bulk up and get better at finishing, but those aren’t just realistic developments they are ones you would expect. Also, NCAA PG’s who get drafted in the 3-8 range have the best hit rate/lowest bust rate.

With that said….just not for me. I don’t have great reasoning for it, just a feeling.

This is where I am at today. I only went as far as I care about. If I didn't name them, I am ambivalent on them as of today.

-Flagg
-Harper
-Essengue
-VJ
-Tre
-Kon
-Fleming
-Ace
-Fears
-CMB
-Penda
-Egor
-Jace
-Yang
-Thiero
-Clayton Jr
-Traore
-Coward
-Wolf
Oddly........nothing has changed here as of today.

He has the best singular skill out of anybody in the draft. Who's the last player to come into the NBA with better handle and control of the ball? Kyrie?

That's like... over a decade since the last one who was at that level. One might call his ballhandling ... "generational"?!
