Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I don't get Maluach. I think I like McNeeley better than Kneuppel. He hates Tre I guess.

I’m not as high on Tre as some here, but a lot of the big sites have him as barely cracking the top 10 or late lotto. I don’t get having him that low. Questions marks for sure, but his scoring is legitimately great.

  • Bailey

That's probably my rock solid, impenetrable top 6. I really dont see anyone falling out or anyone over taking them.

I looked at Tankathon today and they had Kon #6. He has been playing really well. I just struggle to see him overtaking anyone with his very limited physical tools.

Agree. There is a pretty big drop off currently after 6 for me. I can see a few guys closing the gap, but not overtaking.

FWIW when Fland got hurt I penciled him in at #7, with thy idea that guys would surpass him as the season progressed. So far nobody has blown me away that I would definitely put them ahead of Fland. Now I'm not saying that he'll end up 7th on my board or anywhere close to it, but just highlighting a grouping of guys from like 7 to 25 that are still really close together in my mind.

Is there a general consensus on Bailey vs Harper?

For teams, I think it will probably come down to positional preference, on whether you want to draft someone like Cade Cunningham or Jayson Tatum. They both have really high-end outcome scenarios, and they both have reasonably high floors. They're probably in the same tier, or just awfully close.

He tries, that's true, but his terrible defense has really stood out to me the past few games of his that I have watched. He's a terrible screen navigator, gets beat regularly off the dribble, is slow to rotate, doesn't offer any resistance in the paint... yeah he's really bad.

Tre isn't great defensively or as a ball mover, but I think he'll do enough to fit in and stay on the floor so he can shoot. He might be the best gravity shooter in the draft.

Pursuing the box scores from last night and JT Toppin scored 41pts/15reb/3st/2blk (in a 2OT game). I get that Toppin is just a basic big, and a little undersized for a center, but he's an extremely productive basic big, and as been pretty consistently productive this year. I feel like he should be mocked higher than he is.

Flagg looks like he had another good game (27/5/3/3stl). Mobley has scored 21 in the last two games in a row. CMB continues to be the only good player on South Carolina (20/6/3/1st/3blk). Harper and Bailey with relatively quiet games (at least from the box scores).

JT Toppin looks a bit similar to John Collins in college. Similar strengths and weaknesses. He's probably going to need to adapt to playing on the perimeter like JC did. I like him though.
