Would be funny to have him and Grady Dick on the same team.
Yeah, I dont see him playing on the perimeter. He's not nearly as athletic as a guy like Collins and his shooting stroke is not pretty at all. He's purely a big IMO.JT Toppin looks a bit similar to John Collins in college. Similar strengths and weaknesses. He's probably going to need to adapt to playing on the perimeter like JC did. I like him though.

Here's a bit more on Joan Beringer. He's just 18 and allegedly he's has only been playing basketball for a few years. He's been mostly a rim-runner and rim-protector thusfar, but he's got some tools to work with. He's a very fluid run-and-jump athlete with good timing and efficient footwork on the defensive end. He's able to track guards and wings from about 18 feet in and make adjustments if he gets a step behind. He finishes above the rim effortlessly and has a pretty big catch radius. He's showing a bit of touch on a short hook or push shot. He's starting to add some timing, subtle fakes and finishes around defenders. Just in terms of physical profile, I actually like him at least as much as I like Asa Newell. Will be interesting to see how both of them measure out at the Combine.
He'd be a nice upside play in the middle of the 1st round. He could be amazing if he can add a handle, lower his center of gravity, and take a few dribbles to set himself up.

crazy that highlights of a 38 point performance could look so unimpressive. he just looked so slow, even indecisive with the ball especially in the beginning of the game. probably unfair criticisms, but he made kyle anderson look fast by comparison - even just running around trying to get open and of course with the ball too. i still don't really have an opinion on mcneeley for good or bad yet.
just me but KJ should be higher than edge. Egor is at the bottom of the lottery and johnson should be way higher.
So when VJ Edgecombe measures out around 6'3"/185 lbs, basically like a Jordan Clarkson or Monta Ellis, are people going to want to draft him to play ahead of Keyonte and Collin Sexton in our rotation?
I get that VJ has defensive playmaking, but those other guys both already give us 20 pts and 5 asts.
