Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I like him, but he's a worse talent than Flip in my eyes. Not that you can't have both, but I struggle to see both getting PT given their shared weakness of not being able to defend.

I'd rather just go with a defensive talent like Beringer/Fleming.
Wolf is a much better help defender than Flip, but Wolf has a long way to go to be able to shoot like Flip. I also think Wolf is a tier above Flip as a play maker. I would prefer Wolf if he could shoot, but since I don't have a lot of confidence in that happening I would probably stick with Flip.

I agree that I would prefer to focus on a defensive difference maker with the 21st pick.

I disagree on the defensive part. Also the playmaking due to the extreme turnover rate from Wolf

I think he showed a lot better defensively in the tournament. I loved TJD a few years back and Wolf is my TJD this year.

If he finds the right fit he could be a really valuable rotation piece.

Does that really matter if he is undersized for a big and can’t shoot?

Yes, defense always matters. He’s not undersized at all for the 4 where I think he can be a great defender. Obviously he will have to make the offense work somehow, but if he can improve his shooting and/or play next to a stretch 5 I think he’ll be great. In relation to Queen, he is like 10x the defender at either position.

BTW, I'm not talking about CMB in top 2 or whatever, those people are lost in the Sauce. But as a late lotto or even top 10 pick, I definitely think that's valid.

Collier can't hit a jump shot currently. It would be awesome if he could develop that part of his game and become our pg of the future, but I'm not making decisions on our top pick based on Collier. The Jazz need someone who can both shoot and pass. Kas might also just be at a different level of table setting that elevates the whole offense.
He’s also big enough to play the 2.

I don’t see him as a guy that elevates a team. I think he’s too much risk. You should always take the upside with top 5 I don’t see it with him. Don’t think the Jazz should consider anyone outside of most everyone’s top 3 consensus and VJ, Tre, and Kon
Pretty sure conversation on Kas is mostly about trading in/up to get him.

Agreed, I really need to deep dive in to Kas's defense. Watching it live has left me with mixed feelings on it. He'll be a better defender than Tre Johnson, is the only thing I'm certain of.
Based on what I saw, Kas can play defense. But he definitely coasted at times. No doubt about that.
