Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Rasheer Fleming's length puts him roughly in the same category as a Derrick Favors or Jalen Duren, and it separates him from his previous comp of Markieff Morris. He should probably be viewed as a stretch-5.
He should be viewed as a defensively versatile combo forward who you might be able to develop into a guy who can play full time 5

Philadelphia is at a crossroads with Embiid's healthy and Paul George somewhat flaming out. They're a team that needs to pick a direction and might be a trade partner. The problem is you're dealing with Daryl Morey.
Morey can be dealt with. He has a lot of pressure on him to make moves. He's not in a position of great power.

Tre's vertical only an inch less than VJs.

Yanic has a 37" vertical as a 7er is crazy

Tre's physical development is on an impressive trajectory. Coming up, he was known as basically a skinny kid who could shoot. He's got the ability to add strength, and physically he's got a bunch of tools.

Toolsy shooters who have shown the ability to be a primary option don't grow on trees. You can teach everything he isn't currently good at. You can't teach someone to be an elite shooter at his age

Yeah, I think we are getting a coveted player in this draft no matter what. I also think there is a non-zero chance that the Hornets like Kon and would trade back.

The 76ers are not going to know whether or not Embiid can play basketball at a high level again probably for like 3-4 months so I don't know if they can commit to anything right now.
Doesn't really matter all that much. You can do the deal later if they are really waiting on that.

I just think Philly is going to want to push some chips in to give Embiid a chance to win it all.

He couldn't beat accountants and car salesman off the dribble in college to get to the rim, it's possible he develops that in the NBA, but it's tough to see. He's been a high level prospect for his entire life and has a very polished game that he's worked on a lot, he just has no shake.
He played SEC basketball, not DII.

It's massively more fraught to agree on a deal in June that you won't execute until September (and may not execute at all) when the deal is dependent upon a draft pick (as the 76ers and Jazz may have very different opinions about who should be picked #3)

They aren't going to punt on Fox. They are in win now mode. They just have to determine how quickly Harper can get ready and if it's better to trade him or Castle to bring in a high level piece that fits around Fox/Wemby.

If they trade Fox and go with Harper/Castle/Youth, they are looking at least two years before they are a contender and wasting all of Wemby cheap years on developing other players (and there's never a guarantee that those players develop well enough)

I hope you are right. All the more reason for them to shed the pick.
