Guys plz take Yang Hansen seriously. He is the hope of our Chinese basketball and gives me visions like Jokic. I think if he’s still available at 43 just take home like a no-brainer. He ruled the CBA and also been good in the draft combine .
Wow. I heard from Chinese sources that Yang will schedule workouts individually with seven teams including the Jazz. But I wonder if they’d consider a wing or Egor dermin(if available) first. Also the Jazz roster has many centers and PFs, I dunno if they’d chose another one. When Yang works out with the Jazz, I'm positive he will go 1v1 with Kessler. So if he can get the upper hand against him 1v1, I think he would be a shoe-in for the 21st pick.

As a lead ball handler, maybe. As it is, I think he’s more of a highly skilled wing. He’s not my point guard if I draft him.His handle is a huge question mark for me. Against low level competition, he could get wherever he wanted and he looked dominant attacking the rim and passing out to shooters. But against real competition it looked like he was hanging on for dear life whenever they pressured him. I remember a time or two where he had to be subbed out because he couldn't dribble against the press at all.
I know conventions are hard to change, but I think I'd prefer verticals to be measured in how high a player can touch. I think something like 11'7" would tell us more about the impact a player might have than 35".Stole this from another message board:
A look at the top 5 prospects:
Height:
6-7.75 - Cooper Flagg
6-7.50 - Ace Bailey
6-4.75 - Tre Johnson
6-4.50 - Dylan Harper
6-4.00 - VJ Edgecombe
Wingspan:
7-0.5 - Ace Bailey
7-0.0 - Cooper Flagg
6-10.5 - Dylan Harper
6-10.25 - Tre Johnson
6-7.5 - VJ Edgecombe
Standing Reach:
8-11.0 - Ace Bailey
8-10.5 - Cooper Flagg
8-6.0 - Dylan Harper
8-5.5 - VJ Edgecombe
8-5.0 - Tre Johnson
Max Vertical:
38.5 - VJ Edgecombe
37.5 - Tre Johnson
36.5 - Dylan Harper
35.5 - Cooper Flagg
34.5 - Ace Bailey
Note: Exact opposite of Wingspan ordering, and nearly the exact opposite of Standing Reach
Max Vertical + Standing Reach:
11-10.0 - Cooper Flagg
11-9.5 - Ace Bailey
11-8.0 - VJ Edgecombe
11-6.5 - Dylan Harper
11-6.5 - Tre Johnson
Lane Agility:
10.49 - Tre Johnson
10.64 - Cooper Flagg
10.97 - Ace Bailey
11.07 - Dylan Harper
11.27 - VJ Edgecombe
3/4 Sprint:
3.12 - Ace Bailey
3.16 - Dylan Harper
3.20 - VJ Edgecombe
3.28 - Tre Johnson
3.39 - Cooper Flagg
Bottom line: Cooper Flagg and Ace Bailey measure almost exactly the same across all of the measurements (Cooper slightly better with some, Ace slightly better with others). Those two being the taller players measured clearly higher with Standing Reach and also Standing Reach + Max Vertical than the guards. Ace had a shorter height than the Rutgers 6'10" listing led people to believe, but he still has good size that everyone likes when looking at Flagg. Additionally, Ace is the fastest of the 5 at the 3/4 Sprint and is better than 2 of the 3 guards at Lane Agility.
All 5 look pretty good to me when it comes to measurables for their positions.
