In college, yes.
Booker didn't run PNR in college and shot off the dribble. Kon ran PNR and didn't shoot off the dribble.

The overlap for them is skilled C&S, but that is a skill shared by a lot of players. I don't see the comp at all, even just in college.

"no offensive game at all" c'mon now.

i'm not much of a vj fan - he's clearly behind ace and tre in my mind, but my dude put up 17 ppg on 45/39/82 shooting splits and 3+ apg in conference play this year. you don't do that if you don't have some offensive game.
Should probably just mute that clown.

I mean Zach Lowe mentioned the stuff he does in the mid range by using his body to shed defenders and get off clean midrange looks reminded him of Booker... so there is also that.

OK, you're talking about minute differences. It's not like PNR is Kon's main thing or that shooting off the dribble was Booker's main thing. We're not talking about Tre vs Kas.

The overlap is the main thing they did in college. They were both role players and primarily C&S players. You will never find a comp if you fixate on the secondary things, there will always be a difference. There's already overlap between playing in PnR and shooting off the dribble anyways. Those things go hand in hand.

Then you will never ever be able to find a comp for anyone. If PnR and shooting off the dribble was their main thing that would be one thing, but it wasn't even close to the biggest thing about them as college players. It's minute because it was a small part of their roles as college players.
