We all should just fully embrace Yang at 5. Was thinking about how he compared to Queen and I don't know if I can put Yang under Queen. But I also love Queen and have him very high. Is Yang top 5 the true answer? I think it might be.

I just noticed how crazy McNeely flubbed his standing reach number.

6'8 in shoes with a 6'8.5 wingspan but only a 8'3.5 standing reach.
Some players try to manipulate their athleticism score by tanking their standing reach measurement. Wonder if it's the case here. He measured 36.5 max vert... does he look that athletic on tape? He looks pretty ground bound to me...

If he was any more ground bound, he'd be a rock.

This dude supposedly having a higher max vert than Flagg is a joke.

For years we have all said Lauri would be a amazing secondary scorer. Tre has a chance to be the primary scorer.

Guys like Yang, Kon, Queen, and VJ don't.

Tre has nowhere near enough shake to be a primary scorer and he's going to take a few years to develop (to the point where Lauri is gone or ineffective).

Tre projects as an ideal second scorer and third best player if everything goes right.

Guy who comes off screens and spots-up but has the ball skills to take advantage of people going all out to stop his jumpshot is basically his best case scenario.

The only guys I see as being primary 1A type players are Fears or Queen (within our range). Haven't made my mind up on Yang yet but he might have that potential as well.

I want Tre but I dont expect him to ever become #1 on a championship team caliber guy. I guess its possible, but I think his ceiling is a low end All-Star (so great 2nd option guy on a great team).

His defense is so far away and he isnt a 3 level scorer (his rim numbers are bad... both in getting there and finishing). If we project that both of those two develop "over the limit" then we may as well start projecting that anyone can become #1 option quality.

Miles Byrd is basically a clone of Derrick White if he learns how to shoot.

His jumpshot looks very good and he's very confident in it and he shoots well from the line.

And then he just misses badly.

But outside of the jumpshot, he has literally everything you would want. The passing, the length, the athleticism, the confidence, the BBIQ, some ball handling. This guy is a potential top 30 player if he can shoot 40% from three.

... I don't know what the odds are that he can shoot that well from three.
