Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I genuinely love how every post of yours is said with complete fact of the matter confidence. It’s not your opinion, it’s undisputed fact.

And everything is horrendous or atrocious.

RIP nuance, opinion and dialogue.

In terms of claims made in my post:

1. Hendricks was the worst case scenario for the Jazz: The Jazz confirmed he was 9th on their big board.
2. The Jazz considered taking Keyonte over Hendricks: The Jazz confirmed this.
3. Keyonte is one of the worst defenders in the NBA: Tough to prove this, but many metrics suggesting it and... Come on.
4. Cody Williams was a terrible shooter in HS: Shot 34% from three in HS, all were standstill, and took 11 midrange jumpers in his entire HS career. He just couldn't get shots off in HS or college and missed most of his shots in HS.
5. Cody Williams was a terrible defender in college: He could do OK defending physically weak player one-on-one, but he was just abysmal at everything else. Could not rebound at all and provided nothing in terms of help defense. Extremely bad stock numbers.
6. The Jazz were aiming for Coulibaly: Strong suggested by good rumor sources.
7. Cody was drafted a shot creator: This is the only thing I liked about him in college, maybe the Jazz drafted him differently I suppose.
8. Cody, Keyonte, and Coulibaly don't have much in common: Do they?

Usually, I do tiers, but if I'm being honest I don't think the tiers add much at this point haha:

Obvious
1. Flagg

2. Harper

Feels likely that this group will shift around many times before the draft. Have don a TON on each of these guys:

3. Kas
4. VJ
5. Jase
6. Tre
7. Fears
8. Kon
9. Ace

Haven't done as much on these guys so I feel less confident separating them, my basic outline:

10. CMB
11. Traore

12. Bryant
13. Philon
14. Sorber
15. Essengue
16. Clayton
17. Demin
18. Coward
19. Maluach
20. Thiero

21. Newell
22. Queen
23. Jones
24. Saraf
25. Fleming
26. Byrd
27. Clifford
28. Riley
29. McNeely
30. Pettiford
I kind of feel like the tiers are more important than the order within the tiers.

I guess what I'm saying is that my tiers aren't very bold because I have all the guys in contention (3-9) in the same tier lol. I suppose what would make mine different from the consensus is that I have Kas and Jase in this tier and I have them high within the tier.

One player that has caught my mind that I really haven't done much on is Kam Jones. So many contradicting things on paper. Very high rim rate, but extremely low FT rate. Volume 3 point shooter year after year on decent efficiency (37%), but bad FT shooter. Not really a PG, but extremely good AST/TOV in his senior year?

Seems like a potential Divencenzo type? I really haven't done much on the guys past 10, but he is someone I will have to consider at 21 just based on his numbers.

I didn’t read any of this.

I just chose this post as it was the last one I read. I am speaking about your body of work and style of interaction here.

It’s got to feel incredible to always be right and certain about everything.

So I'm responding to a post that says with extreme confidence that the Jazz will take Ace Bailey at 5 if available because the Jazz want shooters and defenders (???) and my post responds with "IDK what their type is playstyle wise, their targets haven't had much in common."

And this is the interaction that gets you to rant about my arrogance...?

My Top 15 would be:
  1. Flagg
  2. Harper
  3. Johnson
  4. Bailey
  5. Essengue
  6. Edgecombe
  7. Fears
  8. Kon
  9. CMB
  10. I might put Raynaud close to this high, but I'd need to watch him more
  11. Jase
  12. Queen
  13. Kasparas
  14. Bryant
  15. Beringer

Not doing a big board. I don’t know enough prospects. I’ve mostly focused on the top 5-7 guys. So here is my top 7.

Flagg
Harper
Ace
Tre
Jakucionis
Kon
Fears

Yep VJ in my top 7 or 10. I’m thinking just after the lottery. I just don’t think he’s skilled enough to be a big impact.

Here is Tony Allens take on Cooper: "“I don’t think Cooper Flagg is going to turn your franchise around like that,” Allen said recently on GrindCityMedia. “I’m serious. I ain’t seeing (Kevin Durant). I'm just not seeing it. I'm seeing Andrei Kirilenko. He is going to be a one-time All-Star. I don't see it, bro. I'm just not hyped on these Duke kids. He is nice, but his max-out potential is Andrei Kirilenko."

He’s Andrei Kirilenko if Andrei Kirilenko had muscle+ explosion and a jumpshot. Allen sounds jealous to me.
