A somewhat optimistic throwback comp for Fears might be Stephon Marbury, imo.

Stephon Castle promoted himself as a PG last year. It's basically a player asserting that he's got that level of IQ, passing and a complete guard skillset.

This has me completely flummoxed. The games of his I’ve seen says otherwise. No separation wiggle or handles for that matter other than straight line driving. If he thinks he’s a pg the so is Tre.

Carter Bryant as a green room guy cracks me up.

I get him as a late 1st w/ the measurables, athleticism, great interviews etc. but my lord.

Dude played 19mpg and averaged 6 points. And we’re not talking Corey Maggette / ‘99 Duke team here. He was the 6th man on a pretty “meh” AZ team.

Sam Vecenie's Draft Guide has Ace at 6 and The Ringer's Draft Guide has Ace at 5. I think Ace is dropping a bit and will be an option at 5. I know in the last 2 forum Mock Drafts, Ace has been the pick.

Is he our guy at 5 or are there some hesitation/doubts about him?

I've always said that VJ's final form in the NBA is a combo guard with legit star potential.

No reason why he can't play the point. Not every "PG" has to be cut from the exact same cloth. The time of "floor generals" is over anyway.

I get the concern with Ace, but he has a skill set and measurement combo you're not usually going to get a shot at outside the top 5.

Would be pretty bummed to take someone like Knueppel over him.
