Fears would be the Jazz yet again going with as young and as raw of a prospect as possible, continuing with the "get a star or die trying" draft strategy.

I like that strategy, personally. I'd rather swing and miss than not swing. The goal at the top of the draft is to get star talent on long-term team control.

I wonder if this is Ace not wanting to go to Philly. Knows Wiz will take him at 6... but is trying to finesse a trade at 3 or 4 to get to DC. He could end up costing himself 5-15M here pretty easily and still end up in like NO.

I could see it. And that may be Ace's play...

Ace makes philly nervous so they just take VJ knowing he would go #4. Ace's team knows Charlotte will take him and do a reasonable deal with Washington.

Philly wants a lot to move down as of right now. Maybe that changes but Morey is a guy that drives a hard bargain at times.
