Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Lot of talk about how AJ’s performance drops significantly against better competition. Think there’s any to that?
No, he's had a number of good games vs good teams.

The only question I have on AJ is the jumper. It's extremely flat. He's bad from the college line, and without any tweaks to his shot angle from 3, it's going to be worse in the NBA. But I wouldnt stress over that too much, but it is ultimately a major reason I'm high on Peterson.

The list of non-shooting non-centers who help their teams in any way consists basically of 15 all-defense guys. Caleb is an awful shooter who is too small to play center and he must become elite elite defensively to make up for this. Currently, UNC is getting shredded on defense.

I could very easily see Caleb Wilson becoming an all-defense guy... In four years.
Sip overrates rookie impact every year.

Nope. The kid is a beast that will be a plus guy right away.
The only rookie who is an actual plus right now is Kon. Edgecombe is also nearly there and could be an overall plus by the end of the season.

Flagg would be if he had a smaller role, but he doesnt.

It's incredibly rare for rookies to come in and be consistent enough to have positive value for winning. I think Peterson is probably the only rookie who could have a positive impact in large role currently. Maybe Boozer is he goes to the right team.

I would expect Wilson to be able to play 10-15 mpg and have some positive value with his rebounding, but he would have plenty of negatives as he figures it out as well.

I wonder if the Thunder got 1st overall if they would take Boozer.

It's just so hard to see them being able to develop Peterson or AJ effectively given how much offensive load SGA/Williams have.

Boozer theoretically fits next to Chet perfectly.

I also wonder if OKC gets upset by someone in the West (namely Denver), and they got #1 overall, if they would trade it for Giannis.

It's a myth

Agreed. His outside shot is what he needs to improve most. Then his handle.
He is money from midrange though.
