Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Does anyone watch enough Keyshawn Hall to have an opinion? Is he Bogan?

I never seen him ranked higher than mid to late 2nd round, but he gets buckets.

So a couple of things with respect to potentially stashing players in NCAA.

1. The NCAA is trying to set a hard line at athletes who have signed an NBA contract:

2. Here's the status of what counts as "NBA contract". It's important to consider that these things are constantly being fought over in the courts.

Summer League Deal - Not an NBA Contract
GLeague Contract - Not an NBA Contract
Training Camp (Exhibit 10) - ????????
Two-Way Contract - Is an NBA Contract
NBA Contract - Is an NBA Contract

3. Players must agree to be stashed and maintain draft rights. Here is how long a team retains draft rights:

So if a player declares they intend to play in the NBA, but he is not offered/does not sign an NBA contract I assume he can return back to NCAA AND he is now an NBA free agent the following season who is not bound to the team he was drafted by.

4.

This could come into play if a player gets drafted first round, but then decides to play 3+ more years in college. They would not be bound by the NBA first round rookie scale. 2nd round picks are not bound by the rookie scale by default.

Just wait until specific colleges become farm teams for specific franchises with "early" non-contract draftees. You know that is coming. . .

Here's a full-game tape of Va. Tech vs. Stanford with Neo Avadalas. A few points on Neo:
** He's big at 6'9"--same height as Ace Bailey.
** Athletic for his size, but not explosive.
** Adequate defender who uses his size pretty well on defense. Nothing special as a defender, but will make a play on the ball if it's right in front of him.
** Visonary passer who knows where his guys are on the floor and can deliver on most passing angles due to his height and reach. Feeds the post well.
** He'd average more assists, but his teammates are iffy shooters for the most part.
** Adequate shooter from deep when he's in rhythm. Comfortable shooter from mid-range.
** Likes to post up and score over the top of smaller guards.
** Doesn't actively rebound unless he happens to be right there. He often lets someone else rebound and give him the ball to bring it up.
** He'll play as a point-forward in the NBA and can play on or off the ball.
