Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

I still feel like Luguentz Dort is being undervalued in this draft. I've been watching more of Arizona State and man he has a great first step on drives. He blows by defenders with it. He's got good enough size especially with his physicality. Explosive leaper. He gets to the line. He's creative with ball off the dribble. This guy could be the offensive spark the Jazz need.
perhaps the least efficient scorer in the entire draft.

There are so many of these guys I would rather have than using all our cap space and this pick and more for two years and $70 million of Mike Conley.

That’s because your favorite things are unknown assets and having enough cap space to endlessly speculate on things that could be. Real time results and production always takes a backseat for you.

Shams Charania retweeted this for some reason. I know they're both with The Athletic, so maybe I'm reading too much into it lol

I have to admit Davis looks impressive. He would be a very good pick up in the second round especially if the Jazz are going to let Neto go

NFL has it right when they have free agency before the draft. If the jazz convinced tobias Harris to sign in Utah they wouldnt need to give up asset to move and draft clarke.

Now if they do move up and draft Clarke Harris might see that as the jazz move for their future of and not want to sign.

More ifs then I like but you just have to do what is given to you

Lmfao.

It's hilarious anyone thinks signing Harris, or any other FA, would influence the Jazz's draft. Or that Harris would choose not to sign because of Clark. It's just flat out ignorance.

I love him, but he kind of sucks as of now.

He's not really an explosive leaper. He's a terrible finisher and a very bad shooter. He's athletic and has a gigantic body for his size.

I'd be very happy with him at 23, but I'd be very surprised if he played much at all (like less than Allen played this year)

I agree that he's not a good basketball player right now and wouldn't play much if at all in his first season. I'm okay with that though. He's an upside pick in my eyes. If the mental side of his game catches up with the raw tools he could end up being a nice player

I don't think it's mental. He's a smart player. He just doesn't score. He's a Marcus Smart type but to a higher degree of bad offense. His shot isn't hideous though, so he could get better there. He just really shoots a moon ball.

It's just hard to see him becoming an average finisher at the NBA level given how bad he was in college.

The thing with him is just how far along can you get his PG skills, his shooting, and his defense. I don't see high upside as in scoring.

Paschal is very meh to me. Bad stocks %. Is he a defender at the NBA level? His shot has a hitch, so I don't think he is going to be a consistent shooter. Ok length for a 4, but not great.

6'7", 250 lbs, 7' wingspan, averaged 16.5/6, shot 35% from 3pt. He's a 2nd-round pick and a backup PF, but if you ask me, I don't think Grant Williams is all that much better. Williams did a lot of his work in the post, and I don't think much of it is going to translate.

Williams is leaps and bounds better.
