What's new

Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

The draft is only 10 days away. I'm confident someone will be there at 23. I like Samanic, Langford, Keldon Johnson, Washington.

Hoping for Wilkes in the second round.

Sam Vecenie on The Athletic has a new Mock Draft. I'll post some of the players with a lot of movement or prospects who worked out for the Jazz if there were any interesting tidbits. Let me know if you want to know about certain prospects or where he has someone ranked.

Kabengele from #40 to #17

PJ Washington from #13 to #18

Samanich from #37 to #19

NAW at #20

Cameron Johnson still at #23

Anything about Q Weatherspoon?

Cmon, if you really think Hayward is a below average athlete then you're just trolling
Am I? Feel free to peruse the athletic testing from the combine, the footage, or how pathetic he was for most of his first season.

Your concerns about Jerome were my concerns about Hayward.

He’s getting quite a bit of attention. Probably has something to do with the fact that nobody wants to miss out on the next Siakam.

To me, he is the guy without a doubt worth trading up for. He is the present and future of the NBA - versatility, length, defense, ability to shoot, coachable, etc.

He isn't 19 until December. If we hit here, it's a grand slam. A SF/PF with that athleticism and ability to shoot? Fits our needs perfectly.

Go for it DL.

He's raw. Like totally raw. He really doesn't do anything very well right now. He's a great athlete with an NBA frame and that's about it atm. He's a total projection, a hope. I think he's got a chance to make it but I don't think I'd trade up for him. I don't even think the Jazz have the assets to trade up that high either tbh. He probably goes in like the 8-12 range

Lu Dort? Goga Bitadze? Daniel Gafford?

You are either underestimating how athletic Hayward is or over estimating Jerome, but they aren't in the same ball park athletically.
