Last night I heard Harpring, who was at least assistant coached by Ty Corbin, repeatedly comment on the Lakers defense by saying it was poor because they weren't fouling. Likewise, he was commenting that we were playing great defense, after we gave up 46(!) freethrows. Is this really what the coaching staff feels is good defense? Or is Harpring just a crazy former player who thinks he knows what he is talking about? If this is what is being taught to our guys it is a scary thought, through five games we've already given up 27 more fta than we've shot. Is this a trend being led by the coaching staff? Or is it our guys being careless?
