What's new

Francisco Elson

Elson is 34 years old, and he's never really been good. He had a couple acceptable season back in Denver, but he's slow and just sucks. I'd rather take a chance on a rookie or DL player.

...but he's "got the body of a 28 year old"

What I like is you can basically watch every point he's ever made in the NBA and every block in a 5 min highlight video.

Don't understand the dislike of Elson. He's worked out better than I thought, for sure. He certainly has more moves than Fes.

Fes is just big - that's all.

Elson is great because he can hit the jumpshot yet he is really tough inside. I like him and his stupid smile.

It's nice to have a 7-footer who can actually come off the bench and play solid defense and not be a complete liability on offense. So far Elson has proven to be a great pickup for the Jazz, as he is a role player who seems to have found his niche with the team. And even better, when Memo gets back that likely means the the big Ukrainian rahtard will be glued to the bench where he belongs.

I'm glad Sloan stuck with Elson tonight - he deserved the extra minutes.

Elson was playing little "Rodmanesque" mind games on Griffin - playing super physical and then patting him on the back during dead balls. I think he got into the rookies head a little bit.
