Shooting is not his role it's just something he's okay doing. He's more of a hustle/energy type role player. I feel like we need a marksman. Someone who will absolutely kill you if you leave him alone. A Robert Horry, Steve Novak, Channing Frye, Matt Bonner type of player.

He's not a bad addition though. I'm hoping these contracts have team options after year one.

I mean I wanted a true stretch 4. If they can defend too it's an added bonus. If not it's not a big deal. This team is going to apply the clamps anyway. We have great defenders throughout the roster.

Anything on top of his nasty attitude is a bonus. Between him and Rudy and the added defense of Mitchell and Thabo it's going to be a fun season. I hope we get inside heads and demoralize mother****ers. Bad Boys II.

Surprised that people don't know that Jerebko is a good defender, he's had that rep since his Detroit days

I didn't follow him much last season, but he's been a plus defender his entire career. He even played a decent amount of 5 for the Celtics.

He's always just been a weird fit for them, cuz Boston never had any rim protection so he often took large assignments for them.

I think he'll have a better Utah stint than a Boston one, pending he stays healthy.

I may have preferred Darrell Arthur, but I don't mind this.
