I'd take an '07 Ronnie Brewer right now (off the bench).

Well he could be had for a box of used rubbers and a sandwich so let's do this.

By the way, what if Aaron Gordon is less rich-man's Scottie Pippen and more rich-man's Al-Farouq Aminu?

That would be funny.

Why the **** do people care one way or the other about signing Aminu? It doesn't ****ing matter. The Jazz suck, they'll suck next year, and Aminu is just some cheap player that may or may not play on the team. If he sucks, it doesn't matter.

:(

I'm guessing you really didn't want the Jazz to draft Aaron Gordon then?

Initially no I did not. but the more I learned about him......the more I like. He seems like a player that will always want to get better. And the kid is 18 years old. And his release is fine. Just needs some fine tuning.
If Aminu was 18 years old with his skill set??? I wouldn't mind.
But if Aaron Gordon was 23 turning 24 in September and had been in the league for 4 years and never improved his shot........ No I would not want him either. 4 years is plenty of time to have some improvement on an outside shot.

Because he takes away minutes from players that need to develop. Whether he is good, mediocre/same, or sucks. It takes away time from Kanter, Favors, Gobert, Hood.

If he sucks he won't get minutes. If he makes the team better and helps win games, he'll play more minutes, and they are deserved.

You'd prefer 6 Ian Clarks to round out the roster? Should the Jazz even draft someone next year? They've gotta be careful to not add too much depth and versatility

He would not apart of the core young guys that we are building this team with.
He is a scrub. We have enough guys we are trying to develop. And if we sign Hayward the rotation is already filled.
We don't need anyone else.

Trey - Exum - Lucas
Burks - Exum
Hayward - Hood
Kanter - Novak - Evans
Favors - Gobert

We just traded for Novak. And they said they want him backing up Kanter. We just drafted Hood and if we sign Hayward. The 3 and 4 are already set. We needed a stretch 4. We have one now. We needed a SF and we have one now.
Aminu would only hinder Hayward's, Hood's, and Kanter's development. These guys all need the most playing time possible.
