Free Assange

I'm not a fan of Julian Assange think he's a colossal douchebag but i also don't think he's committed a crime.

Let's let him run through a trial remotely. Present any and all evidence among a jury of his peers. Let's see all the evidence.

Wikileaks was a significant partner of Russian intelligence over the last ten years and Assange actively fomented chaos globally while protecting authoritarians. It's a weird guy to rally behind.

Very good point.

Just to add, can any of the Pro Assange boys point to when he unleashed his “freedom promoting journalism” on an authoritarian regime, like Russia? Gee, why is that? Is it because there isn’t any corruption in Russia? If Assange is so concerned with free and fair elections by Clinton and the DNC, why hasn’t he ever looked into Russian elections?

inconvenient truths for the Assange crowd.

One better: Assange actively buried negative information about Putin and never published it, in order to continue pushing DNC content.

It's funny how those who create these threads flee as soon as better informed posters show how silly their Facebook inspired threads are with stuff like facts. Weird. It's almost like we shouldn't defend an anti-democratic Russian asset because a Facebook algorithm or propaganda (Russia Today) video says so.

Nice job @Jazzta, posting a Russia Today video on jazzfanz. Now why would a known Russian propaganda outlet be promoting a “Free Assange” message? Why would Russia claim that the west was out to “kill Assange?”

Gee I wonder.

For those of you who want to learn about what @Jazzta posted, here you go. It’s some pretty nasty ****:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RT_(TV_network)

RT has been frequently described as a propaganda outlet for the Russian government and its foreign policy.RT has also been accused of spreading disinformation by news reporters, including some former RT reporters. The United Kingdom media regulator, Ofcom, has repeatedly found RT to have breached its rules on impartiality and on one occasion found it had broadcast "materially misleading" content. RT's editor-in-chief compared it with the Russian Army and Defence Ministry, and talked about it "waging the information war against the entire Western world." In September 2017, RT America was ordered to register as a "foreign agent" with the United States Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Under the act, RT will be required to disclose financial information.

and

Russian studies professor Stephen F. Cohen stated in 2012 that RT does a lot of stories that "reflect badly" on the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and much of Western Europe and that they are "particularly aggrieved by American sermonizing abroad."

According to Lithuania's STRATCOM Colonel, "RT rarely takes a single, anti-Western media line on any given story. That would be too obvious. Instead, RT journalists present gaggles of competing and contradicting narratives which together create the impression that the truth is indecipherable".

Funny, how the biggest Trumpers on here seem to do this as well. They wordvomit conspiracy after conspiracy hoping to create the impression that the truth in decipherable.
