Hendricks needs to get his body right. He wasn't moving well last night. WCJ needs on-ball reps. I haven't even looked at the Gleague this year.

Hendricks needs to get his body right. He wasn't moving well last night. WCJ needs on-ball reps. I haven't even looked at the Gleague this year.
Cody is the guy that needs the GLEAGUE the most. So this doesn't make sense to me.
Any reps are good for Hendricks I guess, but I would prefer those reps are NBA ones. I'm ok with WCJ getting some more on ball reps I guess, but again would prefer those to be in the NBA.
Cody so clearly needs to be forced in to high usage and 0 consequence offensive reps that he won't get on the Jazz. The Gleague is exactly what he needs right now.

I don't understand the point of the G-League for Hendricks. He needs to learn how to defend and no one defends in the G-League.

Cody needs to be the man and have the team depend on him for scoring if he goes to the GLeague.

Tay Henny on a pitch count and Walt looked rusty most of the first half but the Stars came back from double digits down to defeat the Kings JVs. Seat East II had 26 points and Mo Bamba and Oscar had double doubles. Harkless and Walt did close the game out coming down the stretch. Tay Henny struggled and Walt did in the first half. Max Abmas looked better than Walt as a point guard and the Stars regulars looked better than Tay Henny. The same two teams play Monday so both Jazz guys can get more accustomed to their new teammates.

The Stars play by play guy was trying very hard to be so so diplomatic.
FWIW, I thought Cody’s GLeague experience last year was brutal for him. He did end up having some good games though, so maybe that did cheer him up.
For me, the biggest roadblock for Cody is simply playing hard enough. I don’t think chucking up garbage in GLeague really caters to that. But I’m not sure there’s really an environment to learn how to have a motor.

If they told him he had to be the man, then maybe he isn't such a liability in an NBA game. If he had the mind set of scoring 35 a game then he wouldn't be such a boat anchor. He does have other skills that translate in the NBA world.
