Tay Henny with 26 points and Cody with 20 points tonight and both had 7 boards in a Stars road win over the Warrior JVs. Tonje and Harkless looked decent for the Stars and Oscar did not play. Same two teams tomorrow.

A 30 point win for the Stars after being down 15 points in the 2nd quarter. Stars had 8 guys in double figures including Cody and Tay Henny who both needed a lot of shot to attain their rather modest point totals. Mo Bamba led the way for the Stars who were Oscar less again. Hank Morgan the D3 all-american got his first GLeague basket tonight a three pointer.

Here is an interesting bit of trivia about the GLeague: Former Jazz man Jason Preston is leading the San Diego Clippers in rebounding despite being a smallish point guard.
Welp, Cody misses a 3 badly, then recovers with a steal and windmill. Weird play.

This is the most GLeague play of all time. If you don’t like that, you don’t like GLeague basketball!

I didn't think it was possible to make a windmill dunk look lethargic, but here we are.
Cody Williams the foul merchant has already been to the line 5 times in the first half.
Stars got to be the only G-League team that has two top picks still on their rookie contract playing regular G-League minutes.
Cody's been driving the ball, scoring at the rim and getting fouled. We know he can do that already against Gleague defenders. At least he's getting a few dunks.
