Game #1: Jazz vs Mavericks, 10/31/12 - 7:00 PM MST - Root Sports, 1280 AM/97.5 FM

You know it's the first game of the season when we're at 9 pages already and it's still only the morning of the game.

Splurged and bought LP today because I won't be able to see the game live. Please tell me League Pass doesn't tell you the score of the games you watch replays off.

Our bigs should be going to town tonight on the Dallas bigs!!! So if mo can slow down collision we should be set for a W!!!

Good post. This is a great matchup for our bigs. I hope coach Corbin puts Millsap on Wright, and Al on Brand, while all our bigs (Al, Favors, and Kanter) will destroy Curry. We should out rebound these guys by at least 20 at least. As for Mo slowing down Collison, that's definitely possible. Collison looked like his old self when he played for the Hornets. A lot of what he did was because of who was guarding him.

Dallas didn't impress me much at all. With all due respect they should've lost that game. I don't know if I've ever seen an NBA team miss FT's so frequently for as many times as they got to the line, 12/31 are you kidding me, and it was painfully obvious that Kobe was not close to 100%, yes he scored well, but didn't even get to the line once. Plus. Kobe and Nash just aren't a good fit, both need the ball to be affective. For most of the night Nash played off the ball while Kobe did his thing, hell Nash looked like the second coming of Fisher on that team.

Because of these reasons I say we win easily.

I would like to know this, too. I'm gonna have to LP it this year since I'll rarely be able to catch games live.

Also, when you watch replays, can you download one of those new files that lasts only until after you watch, or do you need to stream it while in a hot spot?

Appreciate the help.

Just looked into it. Bookmark or Favorite the actually launched League Pass. Towards the bottom of the screen their is an option to hide scores, it should be automatically selected. Just don't go to NBA.com to launch the player, because you might see the scores on the top of the page.

You can click a box that removes the scores so that you can get to the game without it being ruined.

Edit: Already posted.

If Curry plays against the backups, Kanter and Favors should be able to run on him all day. Curry can't use his massive bulk to punish any of our bigs like he was able to a couple of times against the lanky Gasol.

Hopefully the bigs are feeling hungry... i think there will be plenty of the mavs to go around tonight. lots of boards and blocks.

One other matchup that could be interesting would be crowder against carroll.
