You guys should stop with the "Burks at PG" suggestion. This is about the future core, and Burks getting minutes as a back-up point guard is worthless. Is there any chance he becomes the team's starting PG at any point? I doubt it.
The best way to utilize Burks would be like Harden in OKC. The Jazz should be using him(or trying to develop him) as a main offensive threat in the second unit. He's the only bench guy who can create his own shot, and he brings a lot of energy to the game.
I'm okay with trying out Foye as a backup to Mo. But unless Burks does not factor into the Jazz future plans, he should be getting a whole bunch of minutes. I do not know what Corbin and company know, but I cannot think of a worse way to deal with the situation than removing your sophomore lottery pick from the rotation in favor of a mediocre player who is not part of the team's future.
Either play Burks as a SG or look to unload him for a decent backup PG.

Ostertag, then it was a tie between the back up PG and whatever rookie they drafted either sucking or not getting enough playing time, then how bad the Jazz bench was and LHM needed to pony up the cash for more help. Oh and there was always complaints about coach Sloan, much of them are the same complaints as Corbin.

I don't see why anybody should stop with that suggestion. Even Karl Malone called for it on NBATV a few weeks ago.
Does it matter that he won't be the teams starting point guard?
The kid can flat out handle the ball, can run the offense and create his own shot.
Burks should be swinging from point to shooting guard throughout the game.
Once he ups his BBIQ a little, and learns when to take certain shots he'll be elite already.
He already gets to the free throw line at will, see Wade, Dwayne.
I don't disagree with using Burks as a main offensive threat off of the bench, but does the Harden comparison sound like something we want?
Does Burks then get traded down the line for older, oft injured players like Kevin Martin?
Now if Burks can lead to Iguodala.... I'm on the wagon.
I don't know if Malone is the best strategic thinker out there. I wouldn't really trust his opinion on this subject.
What is the point of having your lottery pick SG play 14 minutes as a back up PG? It's a waste of youth and development time for a relatively minor role that he's not suited for. Tinsley can run the floor much better, and that can provide more opportunities for Favors and Kanter. And even if Burks actually proves a more useful back PG than Tinsley (possible), that is still a waste.
As a young player with a lot of potential, Burks should be utilized correctly or traded. There is no reason to kill his chances of having a good career just to keep him around for a few out of position minutes here and there. It's just cruel.
Burks elite? Burks and Wade in the same sentence? Let it be so. Have not seen it yet though, or hardly a hint of it. From what I have seen, Burks looks like he might be average at best. As good as Harden I would put at 20:1 chance, as good as Wade 100:1. Not quite sure where so many here see such glorious abilities.
I think the Jazz are more concerned about the present than the future. We have Burks for another 2 years after this one is finished, we have a lot of time. I don't think the Jazz are in a huge rush to do anything with Burks at this point.
Burks needs to adopt Carroll's attitude when he is in the game though. That will help him get minutes.
People ought to be complaining about the refs: Favors got robbed twice at least.
