I don't see why anybody should stop with that suggestion. Even Karl Malone called for it on NBATV a few weeks ago.
Does it matter that he won't be the teams starting point guard?
The kid can flat out handle the ball, can run the offense and create his own shot.
Burks should be swinging from point to shooting guard throughout the game.
Once he ups his BBIQ a little, and learns when to take certain shots he'll be elite already.
He already gets to the free throw line at will, see Wade, Dwayne.
I don't disagree with using Burks as a main offensive threat off of the bench, but does the Harden comparison sound like something we want?
Does Burks then get traded down the line for older, oft injured players like Kevin Martin?
Now if Burks can lead to Iguadala.... I'm on the wagon.
