Game 11: Jazz vs. Mavericks

I'm in a dark place. Consequently I believe in the Jazz's ability to disappoint.

Three cheers for Zion.

The Mavs are 3-7, the Jazz 4-6. The only difference is a 14 minute stretch where the Jazz pulled away from a 73-73 tie.

Stop it with the a loss is devastating. It's still first month of the season. Any team can beat any team in any given game day. The Warriors will have a head scratcher this year. All THAT said on paper this is a Jazz win but I could see Dallas keeping the game close and still lose by 10

Usually I would agree with you. But being 4-5 right now when we've been relatively healthy for the most part is unacceptable IMO. If we're going to be true contenders as everyone assumed heading into the year then it's time to play like it. The first week or so didn't bother me much because there were new rules to adapt too and we were shaking off the rust. But we've reached the point where there are no more reasonable excuses. This is a non playoff team you're playing at home. MUST win.

Easy win tonight.

I just hope JJ Barea has an off night, that guy is usually a Jazz killer.

Some of you will be introduced to ROY Luka Doncic tonight. That kid is a baller... Suns screwed up big time by taking Ayton.

Mavs have had an easier schedule. Played some easier teams like Phoenix, Knicks, Atlanta, Chicago, Lakers, Wizards.

Going to the game tonight. Mavs shot lights out last night, especially in the first half. They aren't a roll-over team at all. Jazz should be able to get good looks, just have to watch the turnovers.

I'm a massive Doncic fan too but Ayton has been impressive for his age. Both are great.

Kings taking Bagley over Doncic is the bigger **** up considering they have 3935 bigs on their roster anyway.

I didn't even notice during last game, was Joe's dislocated finger on his left hand or right? He's already in a shooting slump and I'd hate him to have a lingering injury on his shooting hand.

they said on the radio it was his Right hand

The top-five picks in this year's draft all look good to varying degrees. Their teams have kicked off the training wheels and they're all getting minutes and are already getting numbers.

Ayton is a beast so the Suns shouldn't be too bummed despite the fact Doncic is shooting like a young Dirk (I know Dirk is taller by almost half a foot but the sharp-shooting is similar).

Though whomever Trae Young guards tends to have a great scoring night.

Doncic is passing already way better than Dirk ever was and his basketball IQ is way beyond years. And with the game in NBA is evolving bigs like Ayton may not be much of a game changers anymore. Doncic on the other had is already leading Mavs at 19!.. Just fast forward 4-5 years in the future, kid will be in MVP discussions.

Honestly, my hope by the end of November was for us to be sitting two to three games over .500.

We’re not THAT far off of that.
