Yeah before game 1 I thought 7 games but for some reason I feel like we might sweep them and I'm not sure why lol
Jazz about to overcompensate for PG and Russ is gonna go absolutely off
Rookie is about to hit a block. Overwhelming, playing against guys he grew up watching, the pressure. It will hit him all at once and that game will be a W for us.
· I dunno, Mitchell has looked like a vet for most of the year, and he looked like one of the best players on the court in game one. I wouldn't count on him getting rattled.
· Does he really come across as someone who's afraid of the lights to you?
Gobert is a really tough matchup but I'm hoping Adams gets his groove. This is the biggest key to the series. Use Adams as battering ram, get some early fouls on him or just plain wear him down. With him out of the game, or at least out of the paint, Thunder drive and dishes or easy 2s become that much easier. And if they collapse to help down low, let PG and Melo and Abrines and Patterson hammer them from deep I hope we bring our A game Wednesday night.
when someone on the jazz "goes off" it's them shutting down who they're gaurding 100%
I’m expecting the Jazz will look much better this game. Their defense was excellent but we just hit a ton of tough shots. Hopefully we can play good enough defense to win.
If we go up 2-0 it's hard to believe that the Jazz will be able to win 4 out of the 5 remaining games. In that case I'd say Thunder in 5. If we lose game 2 anything can happen.
People saying we won't be that good again because PG won't go off like that anymore. We had Russ and Melo shooting for 15/38 and Adams wasn't making shots/floaters he usually makes with ease. Even Grant had a fairly average game. I think we are going to play even better the next game which of course won't make the game easier as Jazz will make their adjustments too.
I want to see more Steven Adams out of the high post too. If Gobert has to gaurd him out there it could open up cuts to the lane. Gobert is so good though, you can legit see the team avoid the paint cuz of him.
This. Gobert is just so good it's hard to get points in the paint, I think the only way is if we get him in foul trouble.
I predicted perfectly the previous game, let's see for this one... I predict a PG and Carmelo (with Carmelo suprising everyone) game where Russ plays as a dime machine with less than double digits in points. Also Dono Mitchell will be shut down hard but someone like either Ingles or Rubio will be on fire although not able to carry their team.
Important game. If the Thunder wins, no one will be surprised and everything will be as expected. A Jazz win in OKC will hand them some huge momentum going into the Utah games. We do not want that. That would be very bad.
Jazz played a very good game on Monday. Their fans think they got a raw deal from the officials; they don't believe that PG-13 can repeat his performance--also, we don't think the Jazz can repeat theirs either.

Just eliminate the ridiculous turn overs and they shouldn't have a problem.. I think Corey will hopefully be a little quicker this game. I expect Adams to continue to muscle Rudy. That's all it takes.. we are a lot more talented just need to play smart and stay aggressive.
Russ needs to find it in himself to shut down Rubio with lockdown defense.. that would almost guarantee a win.
I think we need to focus on getting more points in the paint as we got destroyed in that area in G1 and we can't always rely on our shots falling. Adams needs to be more involved and give Grant more time.
