Game 3: 11/1/14 Suns at Jazz 7 p.m. ROOT (TV)

I absolutely loved Favors aggressiveness last night. I hope he can bottle it because if he does he should be an All-star. Hayward played aggressively too last night. Hopefully, these nice guys will realize that when they are on the court nice guys finish last.

I am just so excited about Exum. The kid is going to be special. I really loved his defense and passing too. Solid game for the minutes he got. Just wanted to mention his countryman Inglis, dude has a high basketball IQ, I see why he gets minutes.

The bench stepped it up in the second half if they can compete like that most nights the Jazz will be competing for wins and getting some respect around the league.

He just turned 19, Thee, have a little patience.

I wasn't criticizing him. Just pointing out what I see. His mechanics aren't very conducive to being able to effectively shoot off the dribble, or on the move. he needs to improve his shot mechanics.

I read the Suns RealGM forums, and most seem devastated for losing to the 'awful' Jazz team. I really hope we play well this season and get some respect. I miss the days when the Jazz were feared.

Any team that takes the Jazz lightly are going to lose, plain and simple.

Somewhat funny that out of Burke and Exum, Exum is hitting his shots and Burke isn't, and sad at the same time. I hope Exum keeps it up.

From what I have seen (about 50% of the minutes so far) Exum has been taking and making wide open 3s. That is good shot selection. Posted on another thread, stats showed Burke having 70% of his shots against tight or very tight defense = not good shot selection, realizing that some may have been necessary for shot clock or other reasons. And the real likelihood is that because of his size and lack of speed, quickiness, and athleticism, those are the kind of shot "opportunities" will mostly see. He needs to shoot less, pass more.

Hayward took 15 shots this game. That's a little bit closer to what a "franchise player" should be shooting.

But easily dwarfed by Favors' game last night... even if he out rebounded Favors.

Hopefully, we'll see more of that.

Favors 'dwarfed' Hayward's game primarily because of the expectations. Hayward's 24, 10, 3(assist) is a pretty good game. He had moments where he dominated. Certainly Favors' game is breakout and wonderful.
